Invitation to a Reception, (if you can find de Reception)

Reading one of my earlier postings I read that I mentioned Bon Jovi's "Keep the Faith" it reminded me of an other nice song about "Belief / Faith". I am talking about the song "You are the Universe" from "The Brand New Heavies" A few year ago I was invited to a reception of an old collegue at Universal. There was that Big UNIVERSAL logo - you probably know from the movie pictures - on top of the enterance. It was kind of funny, because I wanted to go to where the reception used to be, and now it's the Mailroom. Luckely I knew the guy in the mailroom and he could inform me where the (new big modern looking) reception was. O.K. here below is the CD I mentioned you can even listen to a little sound-clip of the song at Amazon.

Although I must admit that definitely not all of them also have a “Healthy” lifestyle. However they usually have a Personal Trainer that helps them to looks after their Health to keep them Fit and able to PERFORM! O.K. A Guy who owns his own Jet might be right?!!

When I worked at the Big Record Company, the building I was in was on the same terrain as the Recording Studio where a lot of Music Artist came to Record their stuff. I know from collegues that worked there before me that when Music Artist arrived they would hang out of the windows to look if they could see somebody famous. I understand that Bon Jovi came there to Record as well, but when I worked there he already had his own studio. So I didn't see him there, although I became somewhat used to meet other big artists. The Studio was in the same building as the Record Label "Mercury", I frequently had to go to the Mercury building and in the cantine where nice lounge couches and a big tv screen, so it goes without saying that sometimes I had to take some time to watch videoclips to keep myself informed and uptodate. I frequently had to go to Mercury to get CD-inlay pictures to use in publications. Sometimes it happened that there where no pictures. And guess what the story continues, it just happend again!! :) "No Picture". Just as my number of BLOG Visitors no exponential GROWTH yet! Guess I am gonna take Bon Jovi's advise:

A Stampede of Happy Web Visitors to my Site

To apply my Happy Vibe principle, I like to FEEL that a lot of people like my Web Presence. Looking at my “Visitor Counter” does indicate that I do actually have visitors. My "Travel Blog" for example even has passed the 1000 visitors already and that blog is restricted to a mainly Dutch Language only! To get some more insights in how people like my website I like to get some interaction, some Feedback about how they like my site. The Good News is that I am Happy to say that I did receive a reply on my First Happy Vibe Column! It is however a reply written in Japanese or Chinese Chracters. If it’s Chinese than I can feel really lucky about the amount of traffic I can expect in the near future because there are a lot of Chinese!!!!:)

It does remind me of the adorable cute song titled: "IT'S A GOOD SIGN" Track 1 on Emilia's CD "BIG BIG WORLD"

Happiness can be in the small things

Today in the afternoon we walked a little in the sun, with the fresh - but not to cold - autumn wind in our faces. Than suddenly we came "face to face" with a deer. (for the first time EVER on that spot!) It didn't appear frightful, it just ran a little, stopped for a moment and than ran off again. Afterwards - watching the sun become weaker - we drank something on a poarch-like terras of a restaurant and had something to eat from the abundant supply they offered.

Thinking about how strange it may appear to think of Mariah as belonging to my sales team, I have some even stranger things that I became to realise. In my time at that Big Entertainment Company I worked, I was once invited to come to a special concert of "Brian McNight" didn't went to the concert, because I worked hard, hardly had any energy left to go to all the concerts that I could go to besides at that time I didn't even know who he was!!! Just a few days later I saw him perform in an episode of the Hit TV-series "Beverly Hills 90210" Than an other thing also was invited to the After Party of "Boys II Men" infact the tickets for it came out of my printer. Didn't go to that one either. The stranges thing when I some years ago bought a CD of Mariah Carey
"Nr. 1's" I discovered that she had duets with both Brian McNight "When ever you Call" and on that CD there is also a song "One Sweet Day" with Boys II Men! So can you blame me to do something back and be on her Sales Team as well.

O.k. I admit it's a matter of putting it..,

Some years ago I wrote a "Short Story" published in the Glossy Magazine FHM. On the Cover of that particular magazine was a Big Photo Picture of MARIAH CAREY. She must have played a role in the amount of Sales of the Magazine, the Magazine that contained one of my own publications! I was kind of proud to have such a famous person as Mariah on the Cover, an extra guarantee that people would notice the Magazine at the Kiosk. So as you can See..., Technically Mariah Carey has been on my Sales Team!

Talking about Nice Weather.

Reporting to you live from my "Out-Door-Home-Office"....,

Yes, I have an Office with three desks and one of them is located direct before a window. A window that I can open to let the Sun Shine in. With that window open it's kind of being "Out-Doors". That's why I call it my "Out-Door-Home-Office". At the moment I am sitting behind my desk laying in the Sun kind of relaxed (I also have such a "Lean-back" desk chair, so at the moment I am kind of lying Sunbathing with my feet on the desk typing with my Cord-less keyboard om my lap.) O.K. but I just finished writing my new Column about RELAXING so that's exactly what I am going to do. Cheers!

It goes without saying that sometimes you have to take a plane to find yourself a place where the Sky is Blue and the Sun is shining. And an other way is to get yourself a direct Relax-response by just thinking about it, and visualise it. Only looking at pictures in a travel magazine also can trigger Happy Feelings, who doesn’t know the joy before you go on a travel trip? 

If I think about such appealing Blue Skies and the great sunny weather than one of the locations that comes to mind is the Island Fuenteventura. (If you can read Dutch you can also read all about it on my Travel Blog.) 

Fuenteventura is one of the Canary Islands, a real Bounty Style Island with beautiful white sand beaches. A large percentage of the sand is made of “Sea-shells-dust” the big benefit of it is that it is Feels nice and COOL under your feet. Because sometimes if you walk on some Beaches without your Shoes on the sand can pretty much burn your feet! Sometimes it can be real HOT, HOT, HOT! “You know what I am talking about for sure.” 

So really it really real great to be on such a Beach with the Beautiful Palm Trees the Clear Blue water, taking a nice “Cool-down Swim” etc. etc. “This must be Paradise”. From Lanzarote I took the boat “The Blue Dolphin” to Fuenteventura. For one split second I thought I saw a few Dolphins along the way. Definitely saw a few Flying Fish that moved their “Wings?” - or what ever you may call them - real fast! Yeah…., those are the Vibes, the Happy Vibes!
